Watchface linked wrong

I have downloaded a watchface that has been somehow linked in the app or in my watch to a different (wrong) watchface. When I press Set Watchface for "design A" in the app, it always sends the watchface for "design B". I have even deleted "design B" in the app and re-downloaded "design A", but somehow it keeps loading the deleted design.

I presume that if the watchface has already been sent to the watch before, the app just tells the watch to display the watchface that is already stored in the watch (rather than re-uploading). If so, the watchface I want seems to be wrongly tagged with the file from the watchface I don't want. How do I tell the app to re-push the correct watchface?
