No action on tap - Wear 2.0

Elements with actions are correctly highlighted, but tapping them does nothing.
I'm using android wear 2.0 on lg urbane (W150) and watchmaker premium

an update on that - I was using my own design, didn't work. I've downloaded another design from the "Touch action" category in the app and then it started working even for my design.
