Sun up/down

Living abve the arctic circle, wheren the sun never goes down for a period in the summer. The sun is up 24 hour, but the watchmaker is showing "sun down" all the time. The correct programming should be sun is up, when the sun never goes down....
I have watches using dim after sunset, and these watces dimms all day and all night. Should not dim at all.
Can you correct this?
