tasker send variable delayed by 10-30 seconds.

it takes between 10 and 30 seconds for a watchface to display updated tasker variables, which used to be near instantaneous.
this started with the update that claims to fix the (until then nonexistant) delay.
i'm using a samsung gear S3, and watchmaker premium.
