I get 0 for {depoch} on Samsung Gear S2

I love Watchmaker it's awesome for customizing / tinkering!
I'm Using Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935V) and Gear S2 (SM-R720).
I've been experimenting with the tags etc. and have learned a lot but when I try to use the {depoch} tag it works fine in the phone app preview, but when the watchface is sent to the watch the tag behaves as 0 (constantly, no updating). I wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if it's something to fix?
