Watchmaker causing Gear S3 to freeze

Trying to switch from a default watch face to Watchmaker causes the watch to switch back to a default face and freeze- unable to switch to any other face or to swipe to other widgets. The only way to make the watch work again is to power it off and turn it back on. Uninstalled and reinstalled both the phone app and the watch companion app twice.

Same for me. Latest gear update causes watchmaker to crash and must reboot watch.

Was working before the latest gear update. Now the same as everyone else...cant get the watches to load. Did factory install and all still no good.

This was caused by a Samsung Gear S3 update (R760XXU2CRH1 currently US/Canada). We were given no warning by Samsung they would release this and break our app. Please see this post for a fix :

Update 4 Sep : Samsung have approved our patch! Search for WatchMaker Companion 5.1.9 in Samsung Galaxy Apps for the fixed version!
