Gear S3 not working

The fatchface not only fails to load, but crashes my Gear S3 Frontier. I uninstalled and reinstalled, restet my gear, and uninstalled/reinstalled the phone app the no avail. Seriously, it's a shame that there's ZERO care for a polished experience. I even paid premium for this, so it feels like an utter slap in the face. Will be taking myself elsewhere.

I am facing the same problem. I have already uninstall the companion app from the watch and the watchmaker from the phone. I have already made a reset to the watch and install everything again. NOTHING seems to work ! I bought the premium version and cannot use the app.

I have the Samsung S6 with the Firmware G925FXXU6ERC9 and the Gear S3 with Tizen Version 3.0.0.2 with the firmware R760XXU2CRH1

Update 29 Aug: we finally received the Samsung Gear Update in the UK (where we are located) - fix is ready and submitted to Samsung! We must now wait for Samsung to review the fix - this usually takes a week but I have requested a faster review.

The issue was relating to In App Purchases no longer working since the Samsung security fix - we have removed Purchases from the version submitted to Samsung.

Same exact thing happened to me... just stopped one day and hasn't loaded since. I went through all the same steps... will wait for the update now that I see one is coming...

This was caused by a Samsung not a WatchMaker update. We have put together a patch and already submitted to Samsung! We must now wait for Samsung to review the fix - this usually takes a week but I have requested a faster review. Workaround here: https://goo.gl/jyg4Sw

Update 4 Sep : Samsung have approved our patch! Search for WatchMaker Companion 5.1.9 in Samsung Galaxy Apps for the fixed version!
