{sdst} cannot be linked to distance

I inserted a {sdst} field in my watchface to report distance. When I transfer the watchface, it asks me to set up {sdst} and {scal}, linking it to Fit-Stats-Distance. I try to do so, but it keeps saying "invalid selection". Is it possible that this happens because the watch language is set to Spanish? (And thus what I select is "Fit-Estadísticas-Distancia", instead of "Distance")
