Import watch fails

I'm unable to import watches. I had saved some watches to my Google Drive, then after a phone reset. I cannot import them. In the import feature, I can navigate to the Google Drive folder containing my .watch files but the files are not selectable.
If I open my Google drive app and manually download the .watch files to my Downloads folder and then try to Open With and select Watchmaker app, nothing happens and the files are not imported.

Had the same problem. Found the fix though. If you rename the .watch files to be .wlt instead AND CPU then to your internal storage somewhere, then they import without issue.
