Adaptive brightness does not work on dim mode - pixel watch 2

On pixel watch 2 adaptive brightness is set to new value according to light conditions only when watch are in bright mode. When watch are in dim mode the brigtness is still set to the value from latest brigt mode.

How to reproduce, wake up watch in light. Wait to dim mode and walk to the dark place. Brightness does not adjust as on native faces, remains on same value until the watch transit to bright mod and set a new value.
