WatchMaker makes Android Wear force stopping on LG G Watch
This happens occasionally when using WatchMaker. My watch gets laggy and Android Wear is force stopped. This doesn't occur when using other watchfaces.

I experience the same behavior, though it was not present until I was updated to Lollipop. My watch will become unresponsive and will not allow me to tap the wait or close buttons. Eventually it seems to recover but only after several minutes.
Make sure you have upgraded to latest Android Wear on your LG Watch R.
Also remove any unneeded Android Wear apps and resync as this can cause memory issues.
I have done a factory reset for both watch and phone and ensured that I have the latest Android Wear. However, this problem refer to LG G Watch, not G Watch R.
Since 3.3.2, my watchmaker watches all freeze the watch. Some only after hours, some already some seconds after transferring. Before the last update, I at least sometimes got the "wear is not responding" dialogue, but this vanished since 3.3.2. At the moment, my watch has been unresponsive for 5 minutes, displaying the watchface in non-dimmed mode. The only choice I have in this situations is to hard reset the watch by pressing the hardware button, if I even realize there is a problem before the watch simply dies. In this state, watchmaker premium is unusable for me, because it drains the battery of the watch quickly (it gets hot!) and I never know if the watch will be usable or not for me. Reinstalling Watchmaker, resetting the watch and clearing the watchfaces storage did nothing for me. Watchmaker is installed on the internal storage.
This was a nice watchmaker app, but since version 3 came out, it got less and less usable with each consecutive update. What exactly is the problem?

If the battery oft my nexus 4 goes under 30% the watch face geht laggy. I must turn off the dimm mode and the it works gold.
Cant see any immediate problems on my Samsung Gear Live.
- Which watch do you have?
- Do you use always on/ambient mode?
- Is the problem more likely to happen if either watch / phone have low battery?
I have no big problems with android wear but sometimes crashed my watch and need a reboot. The same with the android watchmaker on my galaxy S4. The program stopped and disappear. After restart i can the program normal. but some changes in the new watch face are gone.
Riscontro anch' io lo stesso problema, si blocca, diverse volte, non mi fa usare lo slide verso sinistra e ho difficoltà nel tasto per cambiare faccia. ma anche l applicazione sullo smartphone ha seri problemi, mi spariscono le watchface, senza motivo. Risolvete presto utente premium!
Same problem on my Huawei Watch (Android Wear 6.0.1) with WM 3.9.9.
WM forces Android Wear to stop working.
- Low/High makes no difference
- No "Always on"
- Simple/Complex Faces make no difference
Uninstalled WM, deleted Beautiful Faces on Phone and Watch, made a factory reset on Watch, paired Watch, installed WM, took a featured WF - same problem again.

I'm seeing the same behavior. When I use Watchmaker, with any face, on either my Huawei Watch or Moto 360 v2, that watch will experience unrecoverable Android Wear crashes. I just wasted 50% battery, and about 20 minutes trying to recover my 360. I finally managed to disconnect from the phone, which bought me enough time to switch to another face and stop the crashing.
I'm seeing this behavior particularly badly since upgrading my Galaxy Note 4 to Android 6.0. Enough so that I've stopped using WatchMaker for the time being, despite having paid for Pro. :-(
Same thing here on Urbane 2. The thing is, it only happens when the watch disconnect from the phone. It then lags and stops responding until it reconnects again.
Same for me with Motorola Moto 360 1g and everything updated to latest version. Wear freezes and the clock becomes unresponsible. Watchmaker is totally unusable with this bug
I have the new fossil smart watch. I downloaded this app as I love watched and new faces. However, I can only have this app selected for about 5 mins before I get the error message that android wear has stopped. I can't press anything and required to do a hard restart. It only happens when I try and use this app. I have purchased the premium version and have been very disappointed. I have also updated the app today 10/12/16 still the same problems.

Nixon Mission, never realised this was such a widespread problem. I have gone through 3 of these watches. This watch was just released so I figured I was the only on experiencing this. The complexity of the watch does not matter. I load watches and the watch will run them fine then sometime later it will freeze and hang. I've been able to save it by changing the face on my AW app to a stock one but as of tonight I can no longer get any response from this watch. The screen is all black and non responsive. So now this app has borked 3 Nixon watches. I'm not installing until a fix is released, this is RIDICULOUS TO HAVE A BRAND NEW WATCH BREAK FROM AN APP......
This had happened to me on the Nixon watch as well. I was able to force restart after holding the side button for about 30 secs. Wish I could figure out what is causing the force closes for Android wear than settings
I am also experiencing this on the nixon mission. If I switch back to a watch face that loads directly from andriod wear, no issues at all. Sometimes it happens immediately, othervtimes it takes hours to manifest.
I do have an LG G Watch R, and have no problems with crashes. I just upgraded to the nixon.
Nixon mission here. All is up to date. He installed app.still zero reliability around watchmaker faces. Awesome app if it would actually let my watch work. Go to show off the awesome watch faces and then look like an idiot as all I can show them is how to force a restart
Hi. I need help to connect Watchmaker to DOMINO DM368 (simmilar to LEMFO KW88).
I can connect to the watch via USB and upload all the clocksikns.
I can connect to the device with my smartphone (Nexux 6) using the Sinwear app.
However I cannot connect to my smartwatch with Watchmaker or Facer. Please help.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi same issue with my Asus Zenwatch 3 and Galaxy S7 Edge (Android 7) and S9+ (Android 8).
Also my watchface disappears occasionally and I have to reload it from my smartphone wich takes a load of time.
To me its like Wear OS is causing the problem. When it was Android Wear everthing ran smoothly and without problems.
Please fix this!?
Found out this is happening to my LG Urbane. It wasn't working and I was thinking it was my watch. Did a factory reset to the watch and was working but when downloading the app back on and trying to switch the face it goes back to the phone not working unless on the charger... So weird. I paid for this app and have many custom faces, please fix.
I was contacted by the developer on Reddit who suggested turning off transitions and a few other features but I still find any of my purchased watches will always end up freezing my Ticwatch Pro. It is so frustrating.
