Tap Zones Interfere with Wear Mini Launcher

I have added some tap zones to my watchface (to run a Tasker job to change the watchface between stopwatch and normal and others). I have noticed that when Wear Mini Launcher is active (ie when I have swiped across to display my list of apps) that clicking on an app icon that happens to be exactly on top of my tap zone switches the face rather than launching the app.
