Hotspots cannot be placed below a certain y-coordinate on Moto 360

I'd like to make a certain hotspot flush with the bottom of the screen on my watchface, however, no matter how far down I place the hotspot-enabled object in the y-direction, there is still a gap between that hotspot and the bottom of the screen.

I'm seeing this issue as well. Any hotspots below a certain point in the y axis is automatically pushed up to this point.
