Animated faces causing crashes on disconnects

On the latest WM beta and whenever I load up the animated watchfaces and I disconnect for which ever reason, the watch either becomes laggy, non responsive, or I get the Android Wear has crashed/or is non responsive and given the choice to wait or to close.

I picked a non-animated face and tried to recreate the error and cannot.
