{ssc} step counter displays as 9.22337E+19 in editor app

I added a text layer configured to display

{ssc}

(tap setting is set to open Google Fit)

but in the editor on my phone, this displays as a very large floating point number

9.22337E+19

instead of an integer number of steps. See

The step counter renders correctly on the watch. It is just the editor where I see this strange value (uninitialized perhaps?)

I'm using WatchMaker Premium 3.7.3 on a Moto X running Android 4.4.4
