Widgets not updated when watch was a longer time without connection

Problem (Watchmaker 3.7.3 on Note3 4.4.2 and Zenwatch 5.1.1):

While recharging the watch over night it get’s disconnected from my smartphone (out of range). When re-connecting the watch in the next morning using android wear app, the widgets in the current watchface won’t update (even after minutes): Nor does the weather information update nor the calendar entries or even the battery status of the phone.

I only can get it back to work, when using the watchmaker app to send the same watchface to the watch again. After sending the watchface again all widgets are updates and keep being updated – until the next night…
